We now know that F.W.T. Harrison's name was Fitzemeyer William T. Harrison. The name for "T" is still unknown, but based on other evidence may have been for "Thomas". Despite these names, he is almost always listed as "F.W.T.".

He was married to Ann E. Quinby Aug 17, 1845 in Harris County, Texas. Together they had 5 children:
- Lloyd Q. Harrison
- Katie S. Harrison
- Alice V. Harrison
- Mary J. Harrison
- and an unidentified child born before the death of F.W.T. but died by 1870.

F.W.T. died of Yellow Fever in 1866 without leaving a Will. He had a large estate but also had many debts.

F.W.T. Harrison, who departed this life at his residence in this city on the 13th ult., was a native Alabamian, born in Blount county (if we are rightly informed) September 17, 1820. When but a youth he came to Texas just too late to participate in the battle of San Jacinto...in the month of August, in 1846, he was married to Ann E., only daughter of Dr. Quinby of Montgomery...[note: condensed].

His widow Ann, married David H. Armour April 04, 1867 in Brazoria County, Texas but soon moved to Comanche County, Texas where F.W.T. had a land patent for his service during the Mier Expedition. He was taken prisoner on Dec. 26, 1842 and remained in captivity until Sept. 16, 1844.

Ann and David Armour had one child together, Sallie.
