Obituary
Opelousas - Louisiana - Funeral services for Calvin Eugene Woodruff, Sr. 44 will be heldat 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Park under the Direction of Lafond and Son Funeral Home.
Woodruff died at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Opelousas General Hospital.
He was a native of Welsh and a resident of Opelousas for 19 years where he owned the Woodruff Claims Services. He was a past president of the Louisiana Claims Association and held membership in several claims organization on the district, state and national level.
A veteran of World War II, Woodruff was a member and former vice president of the Rotary Club, a past president and past campagin manager of the United Givers Fund and a member of the boards of director of the Chamber of Commerce and Opelousas Cerebra Palsy Clinic.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, his father, a brother and four sisters.
