Jeremy Alan Griffith, 27, of Richwood, Nicholas County, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at his home.
Born Aug. 11, 1978, at Richwood, he was a son of Donald and Sarah Hamon Griffith of Tioga. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, David Hamon; and two cousins, Adam Clendenin and Danielle Sparks.
He was a 1997 graduate of Richwood High School and was employed by L.J. Hughes and Sons in Summersville.
Surviving in addition to his parents are one son, Jeremy Alan Griffith II; two brothers, Shawn and his wife, Wendy, and Josh and his fiancee, Becky; one sister, Christie May Griffith, at home; a nephew, Shawn Griffith II; and his girlfriend, Desta Wiant.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, in the White Funeral Home at Craigsville, with the Rev. Adam Hanna officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Tioga.
