Eva Fillinger Dalton, 73, of Harts, departed this life Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Born November 7, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Vergie Fillinger.
Eva was of the Christian faith and a member of Hoover Church at Harts.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Freelin Dalton, and two infant brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory include five children, Kathy (Ray) Berry of Delbarton, Avanell (Doug) Kirk and Ronnie (Gloria) Dalton, both of Harts, Stanley (Cheryl) Dalton of Clayton, NC., and Tammy (Robert) Childers of Baltimore, MD., ten grandchildren, Freelin Ray (Cynthia) Berry, D.J. (Nancy) Kirk, Renita (Phil) Conley, Joe (Traci) Kirk, Bret Dalton, Brad Dalton, Austin Dalton, Michelle Dalton, Sheila (Rex) Gill, and Amanda Ewing, eleven great-grandchildren, Lexi Berry, Alyssa Berry, Brianna Kirk, Hannah Kirk, Brianna Conley, Elijah Conley, Wade Kirk, Dawson Kirk, Dylan Gill, Brandon Gill and Josiah Ewing, and seven brothers and sisters, Arnold (Jerenia) Fillinger, Brady (Joann) Fillinger, Hassel (Connie) Fillinger, Wetzel (Sharon) Fillinger, Dorothy (Sias) Spry, Gladys (Herman) Schmitt, and Velma Marcum.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at Freeman Funeral Home, with Pastor Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Freelin Dalton Cemetery at Harts.
Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
