Caroline called Carrie was the daughter of Fanny Hazen and Champlin Green. Some members of the family retained the Greene spelling. She was named in honor of her aunt, Caroline Rebecca Hazen Sibley. Her maternal grandparents were Mercy Haskell and Edward Hazen who were among the pioneer settlers of Pittstown, later renamed Honeoye, Richmond twp., Ontario, NY. She was the spouse of Herbert W. Bradford. Her daughters were Edith Hanford and Grace Ovenshire.
