MRS. MAG BRATCHER DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Mag Bratcher, 76 died last week in the Bowling Green City-County Hospital forllowing [sic] a stroke. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cardwell and was a member of the Leonard Oak Methodist Church. She was first married to the late Billie Bratcher and then to the late Oliver Bratcher.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Johnson Cemetery. The body was brought from bowling Green to the Smith Funeral Home where it remained until time for the funeral.
She is survived by four sons, Gordon Bratcher, West Point, Aubrey Bratcher, Hartford, Artie Bratcher, Morgantown and Essie Bratcher, Prentiss one daughter Mrs. Bennett Clark, Riverside; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ebon Smith, Asphalt; two sisters, Mrs. Louuie [sic] Romans and Mrs. Eunice Vick; both of Morgantown; one half sister, Mrs. Edna Hunt,Louisville; six brothers, Ezra, Owen, Brown, Lawson and Harrison Cardwell, all of Morgantown and Fred Cardwell, of Louisville; 14 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

Magnolia "Mag" Cardwell Bratcher first married William "Billy" Bratcher In 1901. Her second marriage was to his half brother Oliver F. Bratcher.
Mag and Billy Bratcher were the parents of Gordon, Aubrey, Arvel and Artie Bratcher.
Mag and Oliver Bratcher were the parents of Essie and Martha Bratcher.
