Nancy (Maurice) Spears (also known as Lady Spears) was a daughter of Major General Sir Frederick Barton Maurice, GCB, GCMG, GCVO, DSO and Margaret Helen (Marsh) Maurice (Lady Maurice) and the sister of Joan Violet (Maurice) Robinson, FBA.

She was the secretary and second wife of Major General Sir Edward Louis Spears, Bt., KBE, CB, MC. They married on 19 December 1969.
