Mark Yates, age 82 of Grove City, passed away suddenly May 16, 2013 at Doctors Hospital West. He retired from Equifax Services and worked with The Franklin County Board of Elections. Mark was a faithful member of the Grove City United Methodist Church, where he served in many ministries. He enjoyed playing the piano, was a member of the Grove City Jaycees and a US Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by his brothers Jack and George Yates and sister Bette Yates-Teasley.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Barbara A. Yates; loving daughter Leslie Stover; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Friends may visit on Sunday from 1-4 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St. Grove City. Funeral will be held 10:00 AM Monday at the Grove City United Methodist Church 2684 Columbus St. Grove City, with Pastor Dennis Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Springlawn Cemetery.
