Graveside services honoring the life of Mrs. Annie Rae Nelson, 93, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Lamberton Cemetery next door to the church on Shamrock Loop in Robeline, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. David Allen at Oasis of Love Fellowship with special music provided by Clayton Dyess of Marthaville, LA. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Annie Rae Nelson was born on October 21, 1926 and departed this life into the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, December 22, 2019.
She was raised with the teaching of the word until her passing.
Going ahead of her to welcome her was her husband, J.C. Nelson; sisters, Dessie Mae Holt and husband C.J. “Jack” and Elva Mae Paddie and husband Sonny Paddie.
She is survived by her only child, James W. Nelson of Zwolle, LA; ex daughter-in-law, Teri Urda Nelson of Pleasant Hill, LA; granddaughter, Kayla Clawson & husband William; great-granddaughter, Anna Clawson of Pleasant Hill, LA; grandson, Nick Nelson and wife Meghan of Little Rock, AR; granddaughter, Erin Graham and husband Brent; great-grandson, Jackson; great-granddaughter, Ava of Shreveport, LA and a very special niece, Beth Holt of Natchitoches, LA.
Honoring Mrs. Nelson as pallbearers will be William Clawson, Nicholas Nelson, Joseph Free and Robert Meshell.
