Willie Nathan Brady grew up in the Grand Glaise/Possum Grape area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and World War II. After returning from the war he married Elizabeth Metcalf and had five children. After his marriage to "Liz" ended, Nathan ran a bait shop at "Old Glaise" in his later years. He was killed by a shotgun wound to the stomach on June 23, 1984. His death was ruled a "suicide".
