Gloria U. Batchler, 62, of Stroudsburg R.6 died Thursday, Nov. 6, in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of LeRoy O. Batchler. They were married for 45 years in July.
A member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, she was a sewing machine operator at LeMar Fashions, Sciota, for 33 years until retiring last year.
Born in Bushkill, she was a daughter of the late John Sr. and Lydia Davis.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors: Husband; daughters, Ruth Pope of Snydersville and Joan, at home; brother, John Jr. of Kunkletown; sisters, Anna Burger of East Stroudsburg and Nellie Fuller of Plant City, Fla., and two grandsons. She was predeceased by a son, LeRoy Jr.
