Christopher McCormick

Christopher Mark McCormick, 15, of Nampa, passed away Friday October 21 1994, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Vigil services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, October 24, 1994, at the Alsip Funeral Chapel Nampa. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at the St Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa. Father Alfred Puccinelli, S.M. of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.

Chris was born on January 8, 1979, in Boise, the youngest of ten children to Ruth and Tony McCormick.

He liked playing baseball and was an avid baseball card collector. His favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees, his favorite player, Don Mattingly. He also enjoyed fishing and playing with his computer.

He is survived by; his parents, Ruth and Tony McCormick of Nampa; five sisters and their husbands, Renae and Randy Simpson of Meridian, Diana and David Parker of Meridian, Pam and Ben Hassis of Nampa, Denise and Shane Gehring of Nampa and Patty and Mike Baltes of Sherman Oaks, CA; three brothers, Anthony and his wife, Lori McCormick of San Jacinto, CA, Dan McCormick of Hollywood, CA and Dennis McCormick of Nampa; numerous nieces and nephews; his grandmothers, Maude Pooley and Francis McCormick; and his uncle Deo and aunt Bonnie Pooley.

He was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, his uncle Ron and his brother, Jason, who is waiting to show Chris the Glory of Heaven.

"Blessed are the children, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs."

Memorials may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, 151 E. Bannock, Boise, Idaho 83712.
