DAWSON - Henry William Tebrugge, 85, of Dawson, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield.

He was born August 2, 1919, in Jud, N.D., the son of William and Marie J. Becker Tebrugge. He married Deanne K. Tebrugge in 1976; she died in 1993. A son, Larry, also preceded him in death in 1982.

Mr. Tebrugge was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired as a mechanic with Riverton School District. He was a member of Dawson United Methodist Church and Fountain of Life United Methodist Church in the Tri-City area.

Survivors: two daughters, Marlene (husband, Bill) Little of Salina, Kan., and Jolana (husband, Arthur) Cordel of Newton, Texas; four sons, John (wife, Sandy) Tebrugge, Dan (wife, Kathy) Tebrugge and Steven (wife, Christina) Tebrugge, all of Springfield, and Mike Tebrugge of Dawson; four stepchildren, Raymond D. Bradley, Michael K. (wife, Toni) Bradley and Corinna Bradley and Christina (husband, Mike) Craig; several grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Marie Grosbol of Florida, Elsie (husband, Harold) Juhl of Tallula and Mildred Allen of Bluffs; two brothers, Bill Tebrugge of Lincoln and Larry (wife, Ramona) Tebrugge of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Thursday, June 3, 2005 at Fullenwider-Park Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. The Rev. Jeremy Hansen officiated. Burial was held at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
