ALTON — Kenneth Everett Bartholomew, 89, Alton, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Mr. Bartholomew was born Oct. 13, 1916, in rural Stockton. He was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma, of the home; a daughter, Patsy Redden of Gypsum; two sons, Ray of Hutchinson and John of Los Lunas, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Woodston United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, near Alton.
Memorials may be made to the church, in care of Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N. First, Stockton 67669.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
