TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Mildred E. DeShane-Littell, 86, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in McAlister Cemetery in McAlister. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home.
Mrs. DeShane-Littell was born June 28, 1918, in Franklin, Ky. She moved to New Mexico to the McAlister area with her family as a child. She attended and graduated from McAlister School system in 1938. She lived all of her adult life in Tucumcari, working as a waitress.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Chronic of Amarillo; a son, W.B. DeShane of Dumas, Texas; two nieces, Karen Stokes of Edgewood and Venita Webb of Beaumont, Texas; and three nephews, Mickey Mitchell of Sacramento, Calif., and Elvis Webb and Donnie Webb, both of McAlister.
