Valerie Jean Barlow, nineteen years of age, passed away on May 19, 1974 at Santa Rosa Medical Center. She was born with a heart defect known as tricuspid atresia.
She graduated from Ursuline Academy and attended Trinity University. She studied and played the piano for nine years and wrote poetry. She enjoyed reading, visiting with her friends, and music.
She is survived by her parents, Virginia King Hall and James Edwin Barlow; and her two sisters, Becky and Melissa.
