She was born 14 Oct 1912 Bazine, Kansas to George and Magdalena (Schneider) Schwien.

She married Pete Yaeger JR. on Aug. 12, 1934, in Hanston. He died July 20, 1944.

Survivors include a son, James Yaeger, Ness City; three sisters, Lena Schwien, Ruth Mehler and Lydia Beardsley, all of WaKeeney; six grandchilden; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Marciel.

Graveside services in Bazine Cemetery.
