Stanley Ray Hunt, 73, of Great Falls, died Monday, May 13, 2013, of natural causes at a local healthcare facility.

Stan was born on January 19, 1940, in Dos Palos, California to Onus and Will (McCurdy) Hunt. He spent some time in the Air Force. He worked in auto body repair at Thompson's Body Shop in Cut Bank for 10 years and as an insurance adjuster for Great Valley Adjuster's in Modesto, CA for 10 years. He married Judy Malkow of Great Falls on August 20, 1972, in Anchorage, AK. He enjoyed golf, fishing, painting and spending time with the lights of his life – his grandkids. He will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Judy; sons Kevin and Kenny Coxe both of Great Falls; brother-in-law John (Anita) Malkow of Vaughn; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; aunts Juanita Grayson of Firebaugh, CA; Wanda Brinkley of Dos Palos, CA; his beloved nieces Heidi Stevens of NJ and Holly Taber of TX; daughter-in-law Jeanene Coxe of Great Falls.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford Funeral Home.
