Dustin Cole Baker, age 29, of Clarence, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 27, 1982 in Kirksville, the son of Roger Lynn and Kathy Laverne Bentley Baker. On December 24, 2008, he was united in marriage to Heather Corbin at Macon. She survives.
Dustin is also survived by his parents of Clarence; one son, Parker Griego of the home; one sister, Angie Grinder and husband Josh of New Cambria; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vernie and Mary Alice Bentley; his paternal grandparents, Glen and Virginia Baker; one nephew, Michael Williams; and one uncle, Raymond Bentley.
Dustin was a 2001 graduate of South Shelby High School and was a member of the Clarence Christian Church. He enjoyed stock car racing, sports of all kinds, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and four wheeler riding. His greatest joy was the time he spent with family and friends.
Visitation was Monday, December 26, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at the Clarence Christian Church in Clarence by Bro. Jamie Franke. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, south of Lentner.
Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Organ Donor Foundation.
