Danny Ray Livesay, age 52, of Rutledge departed this life to meet the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Danny had a never ending love for his children and family, and will be remembered by all who knew him for his generosity and thoughtfulness of others. Through his career as a brick mason, he had an opportunity to touch many lives. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death and greeted in heaven by his sister, Connie Livesay; grandparents Clarence (Hoot) and Ethel Livesay, and Syl and Lunnie Love Atkins. Survivors include his wife Sherri; former wife and mother of children, Evelyn Brantley Perry; daughter, Miranda (Adam) Pierce of Mohawk; son, Jesse (Corin) Livesay of Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma; daughter, Kristan (Kevin) Rogers of South Carolina; grandchildren, Zoey and Brooklyn Livesay, Christian , Zander and Nathan Pierce, and Paisley, Mason, and Autumn; parents, Dan and Myrtle Livesay; brother, Bobby (Julie) Livesay of Rutledge; sisters, Sharon Livesay of Orlando, Florida and Dena (Dale) Clemons of Bean Station; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church for an 11:00 A. M. service with Rev. Hollis Dunsmore and Rev. Gary Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh UMC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shiloh UMC Cemetery Fund at c/o Darrell Lampkin at 6872 Owl Hole Gap Rd., Rutledge, Tn. 37861
