Danny Ray Livesay, age 52, of Rutledge departed this life to meet the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Danny had a never ending love for his children and family, and will be remembered by all who knew him for his generosity and thoughtfulness of others. Through his career as a brick mason, he had an opportunity to touch many lives. He professed his faith in Jesus Christ, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death and greeted in heaven by his sister, Connie Livesay; grandparents Clarence (Hoot) and Ethel Livesay, and Syl and Lunnie Love Atkins. Survivors include his wife Sherri; former wife and mother of children, Evelyn Brantley Perry; daughter, Miranda (Adam) Pierce of Mohawk; son, Jesse (Corin) Livesay of Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma; daughter, Kristan (Kevin) Rogers of South Carolina; grandchildren, Zoey and Brooklyn Livesay, Christian , Zander and Nathan Pierce, and Paisley, Mason, and Autumn; parents, Dan and Myrtle Livesay; brother, Bobby (Julie) Livesay of Rutledge; sisters, Sharon Livesay of Orlando, Florida and Dena (Dale) Clemons of Bean Station; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the chapel at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church for an 11:00 A. M. service with Rev. Hollis Dunsmore and Rev. Gary Dalton officiating.
