RUSHVILLE — Teresa Lynn "Peanut" James, 59, of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, at her home.

One of six children, she was born April 11, 1954, in Rushville, the daughter of Earl and Ida Hatfield Randall, and was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School Class of 1972.

For many years, she was self-employed as a commercial cleaner for many such businesses in Connersville; additionally, she had worked as an inspector with Freudenburg of Morristown, was a CNA at Lincoln Centers and also, for a time, was employed at Fayette Memorial Hospital.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. In her younger years, she was a member of Rushville First Baptist Church and also was a current member of Hilltop Tabernacle in Connersville. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors, besides her husband, Patrick W. James Sr., include three children, Kelly Daugherty and her husband James of Akron, Ohio, Greg and Brian Cole, both of Greenfield; three step children, Tonya Smith and her husband Thomas of Laurel, Misty Grimm and her husband Raymond of Everton and Patrick James Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Connersville; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren (another great-grandchild will be born in November); her mother, Ida Randall of Rushville; three sisters, Karen Oldham and her husband Bruce and Janet Hollar, both of Rushville, and Lori Riggs and her husband Rick of Shelbyville; two brothers, Michael Randall and his wife Vicky of Janesville, Wis. and Steve Randall of Rushville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Santford Hollar; a nephew, William Collyer; a mother-in-law, June D. James; a father-in-law, Walter K. James Sr.; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Quantz.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Garner officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
