Mrs. Delores Booth Griffin, 77 of Lenox passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Mrs. Griffin was born August 7, 1935 to the late Thomas Monroe & Izora King Booth. She worked in the lunchroom at the Lenox Elementary School and was a member of the Lenox Christian Fellowship Church. Survivors include her daughter & son in law, Blenda & Kim Corbitt of Lenox; one son & daughter in law, Joe & Becky Griffin of Adel; one brother & sister in law, Sam & Mildred Booth of Tifton; two sisters & brother in law, Betty Hobatter of Perry, GA., and Hazel & Doc Sumner of West Berrien; three grandchildren, Joey Griffin of Adel, Jamie Griffin of Adel, and Cody Wade of Lenox; two step-granddaughters, Bonnie Hill of Gainesville GA. and Courtney Camp of Lenox; and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. "Buddy" Griffin; three brothers, Johnson Booth, J. C. Booth, and Billy Booth; one sister, Ida Jane Davis; and one granddaughter, Tamala Wade.
