Cynthia Dianne McLeod "Cindy", 58, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday the 15th of May 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health System. The family will receive friends, Friday the 17th of May 2013 from 6-8 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday the 18th of May 2013 at The Grace Place Church, 608 Second Street Brunswick, GA 31520 with Rev. Ron Scarboro officiating. Mrs. McLeod will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving Pallbearers include; Joseph Fawcett, Kenny Burgess, Jamie Harrell, Jack Bennett, John Waters and Tim Short. Alternate pallbearer will be Joe Fowler.
Cindy was born May 12, 1955 in Brunswick to the late Bud and Mary Bennett. She is a graduate from Brunswick High School and a member of The Grace Place Church. Cindy loved flowers, and could grow a beautiful garden. She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband: William "Larry" McLeod of Brunswick; her children: Joseph Fawcett (wife Rebecca) and Shawnee Fawcett; three grandchildren: Khloe, Alexis and Hunter Fawcett and new arrival very soon Abbigayle Dianne Fawcett; two sisters: Anne Burgess and Donna Boyd; one brother: Jack Bennett and many other relatives.
