Mrs. Catherine Goldsmith died last evening, of dropsy and heart troubles, aged seventy-seven. Deceased was the wife of John Goldsith, and during the past winter she has been sick. For a day and half she had been unconscious. Mrs. Goldsmith was born in England in June, 1809, and at one time was a member of the M.E. church in Rochester, N.Y.
