He was a native of Pensacola, FL, a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for the Cabinet for Families and Children of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Wendt Rudd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Linda Schraffenberger Rudd; son, Larson Rudd (Sarah); daughters, Lynnette Stewart (Amanda Hunsicker) and Angela Mason; father,Raymond "Leo" Rudd; brothers, Lynn (Mary) and Loren (Tong-Suk) Rudd; three grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
His funeral services will be Friday, June 26, 2009, at noon, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 and after 10 a.m. until noon Friday at the funeral home.
