Terry Lynn Mann, age 62, of Kingsport, TN, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Born in Russell County, Mr. Mann lived most of his life in Kingsport, TN. He was a machinist and retired from TEC. He was a faithful Christian, an avid fisherman and hunter and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son.
Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his father, Alfred E. Mann; brother, Alfred Shane Mann; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Carol Mann of the home; mother, Peggy J. Mann of Kingsport, TN; son, Mike Allen Mann and wife Heidi of Colorado; daughter, Carol Lynn Cate and husband Kyle of Kingsport, TN; brothers, Tony Lynn Mann and wife Kathy of Blountville, TN and Donald Kelly Mann of Church Hill, TN; granddaughters, Maggie Friedrichs and husband Andrew and Isabella Keen; great-granddaughters, Myra and Kyra; and several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
The family will receive friends, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Tri-Cities Funeral Home Chapel in Blountville, TN with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim D. Morelock officiating.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens in Blountville, TN.
