Harry Clarke has no known grave.

He had been in Switzerland, receiving treatment at a sanitorium, and realising that he was dying he decided to return to Ireland.
He died at Coire [Chur] in Graubunden canton, on 6 January 1931. His wife Margaret and their 3 children attended his funeral and burial in Coire, and a small headstone was erected. Local custom requires the publication of a notice in a newspaper fifteen years after a death seeking confirmation from the relatives that they will maintain the grave. The Clarke family were not aware of this requirement, and Harry's remains were disinterred, and buried in a communal grave. The headstone was removed and destroyed.
