Joyce June Richardson, 79, of Bay Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Born March 20, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Glaydis (Beavers) Boykin.
Joyce is survived by: two sons, David (Teresa) Henderson, and Julian Henderson both of Raleigh; three daughters, Carmyn (Ben) Lancaster of Center Ridge, Theeta (Carl) Massey of Bay Springs, and Connie (Paul) Meek of Raleigh; one brother, Jerry (Gina) Boykin of TX; and two sisters, Katherine (Oscar) Dukes of Raleigh, and Patsy Barker of Mendenhall. Other survivors include nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by: her husband, John Richardson; one brother, Ray "Bo" Boykin, and one grandchild, Jonalyn Scott.
Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Trinity Methodist Church in Raleigh with services following at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held in Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ian Hall officiating
