Barbara will be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She rests in eternal peace with the Lord and is reunited with her loving husband, William T. Mohr.
Born in Philadelphia on December 18, 1933, she was the daughter of Pauline (Schuppert) and Edmund Downing.
She is survived by her children Bethanne Curley (Daniel), William Henry, Barbara Henry, W. Thomas Mohr (Anne) and Trang Lam (William); her grandchildren, William, Nicole, Joseph, Victoria, Abigail, Ashley Andrew, Zachary, Jevin, Erin & Tyler; her sister Ruth Graham and nephews and niece; James, Robin and Jane.
Barbara was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glenside and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jamison.
Her fondest work memories were of her years with Gardner Marshall Co., where she was V. President and partner.
She was a foster parent, loved to garden, paint and enjoyed traveling.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 6 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 10th at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington and on Wednesday, May 11th from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 2100 York Road, Jamison. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn.
