Edwin served his nation faithfully in the Navy before attending college and becoming a Television Repairman. He owned a television repair business called Melody Radio and T.V., which later became Huffman T.V. He loved dogs, especially his dachshunds, gardening, and golfing. He also enjoyed reading, baseball darts, and drinking wine. He was a faithful member of Our Shepard Lutheran Church, and was also a member of American Legion.
Edwin is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walt Gruetzner, Author Gruetzner, and Elmo Gruetzner. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Gruetzner; sons, Glen Gruetzner, Gary Gruetzner, and Greg Gruetzner; Daughter-In-Law, Jean Gruetzner; sister, Louise Morrow; grandchildren, Garrett and Allison Gruetzner. He is also survived by his little dog, Willie.
