Margery Miller, 84, died at 9:55 a.m. May 8, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Jan. 15, 1929, in St. Johns to Oscar Berlin and Cecil Ilea Beech Bowsher, who preceded her in death. On June 6, 1947, she married Orville J. "Jack" Miller, who died April 14, 2010. Mrs. Miller was a 1947 graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta. She had worked at The Leader Store and Elder Beerman for several years. She was a member of Lima First Assembly of God and had been a member of the prayer chain. She had been a volunteer at St. Rita's Medical Center and enjoyed camping and old western movies. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Buttons. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, reading her Bible, praying and serving the Lord she loved. Survivors include two sons, Barry A. "Butch" (Rebecca) Miller, of Harrod, and Mark B. (Ann) Miller, of Lima; three daughters, Tanya L. (Mike) Volbert, of Lakeview, Sheila E. (Carlos) Torres, of Monroe, and Bonnie I. Miller, of Lima; five grandchildren, Alicia (Terry) Bogart, Katie (Terry) Followell, Angie Volbert, Emilee (Mike Fleming) Miller and Eric Miller; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice McCreight, of Wapakoneta; and a sister-in-law, Betty Bowsher, of Spencerville. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Berlin (Millie), Kenneth and Donald Bowsher; and a sister, Joan (Dean) Kent. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor Randy Davis, Pastor Jerry Hall and Pastor Mike Wengerd will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
