Mrs. Annie L. Jacobs 92, of Bolton, died Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was born October 2, 1919, in Columbus County, the daughter of the late William Dudley Freeman and Mary Elizabeth Jacobs Freeman. She was the widow of the late Dorsey Jacobs. Final rites will be conducted 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2012, at New Hope Baptist Church in Bolton by Rev. Don Carter and Rev. Howard Jacobs. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Peacock Funeral Home. She is survived by four sons, Farest Jacobs of Acworth, GA, Willie Jacobs and wife, Linda, of Bolton, Burnice L. Jacobs and wife, Debra, of Leland, Allen Jacobs and wife, Margie, of Bolton; four daughters, Eloise Patrick and husband, Dennis, Bettie Jacobs, Wilma Jacobs, Emma Jacobs and husband, John, all of Bolton; a sister, Beatrice Freeman of Bolton; 22 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Cecil Jacobs; two brothers, Joe Freeman and Johnson Freeman; nine sisters, Evelyn Jacobs, Rosetta Freeman, Pearlie Patrick, Sarah Jane Jacobs, Carrie Lee Jacobs, Ada Belle Simmons, Willie Edna Jacobs, Stella Ikner, Amanda Freeman.
