Donna Irene Hopper went home to be with the lord and all those that went before her on November 13, 2012 at the age of 75. Donna was born on November 20, 1936 in Panhandle, Texas to Artie and Ralph Dean. She married the love of her life Marion Wayne Hopper on March 31, 1956 in San Angelo, Texas. Together they lived in Texas, Turkey, California and then finally settled in Newalla, Oklahoma for 15 years. They then relocated to their current home in Midwest City for the last 22 years. Donna was a Registered Nurse and worked in several hospitals during her career in nursing. She worked in the emergency room and was also head nurse at the Shawnee Medical Center when they returned from Turkey. Donna and Wayne both retired and became Amway Distributors and traveled throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding states. But, Donna was eventually called back into nursing and worked for the Midwest City Medical Center in Labor and Delivery. This was one of her favorite places to work as she was able to assist in bringing many babies into this world. Her next employer was Home Health Services and she took care of terminally ill patients. She was the matriarch or the family and will truly be missed. Donna was loved by anyone that met her and was a very giving and loving person. Donna loved to sew and make many types of crafts.
