Joel and Almira Hastings family are in the 1850 census in Marlborough, Massachusetts page 455 lines 27-33. They lived in Marlborough until their deaths.
Joel and Almira had 8 children.
The children are Francis Wallace, Edward Merton, Abel Bowers, George Herbert, Sarah Gray, Isabella Warren, Warren Hunt, and Mary Phebe.
The children for Abel Bowers Hastings and Emma Frances Wesson Hastings are:
Lillian Abby, Lemond Joel, Mabel Florence, Alfred Wesson and Minnie L. Hastings.

1880 U.S. Census Marlborough, MA. SARAH C. MORSE age 35, married, works in shoe shop. Daughter CARRY A. MORSE age 11. Sarah and Carry/Carrie are living in the same dwelling as her brother ABEL B. HASTINGS and family above, as well as another family.

1900 U.S. Census, Marlborough, MA, 35 Pearl St. EMMA F. HASTINGS, widow, age 48, born Nov. 1848, had 5 children with 4 living. Daughter Lillian L. Hastings age 31, Feb. 1869, works in paper box shop; & daughter Minnie age 18, born Aug. 1881, works in paper box shop.
