George E. Eye and Agnes Cochran, both of Calais, made their marriage intention on August 30 and September 8, respectively, 1887 and were married on September 8 by Rev. A.J. Padelford, pastor of the Baptist Church of Calais.

Agnes was the daughter of John Cochran and Almira Gardner.
