She was at one time married to a Mr. Jones, then on September 20, 1886, she married James M. Armstrong. Rev. E. A. Gay officiated and the attendants were James' daughter, Roxie, and her husband Joseph Harrington. According to Sarah's death certificate she had four children. She died of natural causes.
