The Coshocton Tribune, September 19, 1972:

Harold B. Aronhalt, 80, Coshocton Route 1, died at 9 p.m. Saturday at County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 5.

He was born Aug. 3, 1892 in Lafayette Twp., a son of Daniel and Eliza Bible Aronhalt. On March 8, 1913, he was married to Winifred D. Stiner, who died Nov. 12, 1961. Mr. Aronhalt was a member of the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, Methodist Men's Group, Bethlehem Grange and the local AA chapter.

In his early years, Mr. Aronhalt was employed at the Morgan Run and Tyrone area coal mines, and for 26 years supervised farms for the late George M. Gray and Matthew W. McConnell in Coshocton County. For the past 30 years he has been associated with the Marathon Oil Co. here and for the past 23 years operated a Marathon service station on the Warsaw Rd.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Pual (Catherine) Spang, Route 5, Mrs. Kenneth (Gertrude) Stewart Route 1, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Totten, Walhonding, Route 1, and Mrs. William (Shirley) Wilson, Route 5; three sons, James Harold Aronhalt, Coshocton, Daniel Wayne Aronhalt, Conesville, and Otis Ray Aronhalt, Route 1; 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, one grandchild, one brother and one sister are deceased.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church with the Dr. Russell H. Hoy officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Dawson Funeral Home Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Wednesday for one hour prior to services.
