Darrell Lackey Resident of Pittsburg, CA Darrell was born on January 16, 1942 to Earl and Bonnie Lackey (deceased). He lost his yearlong battle with cancer on May 4, 2013. Darrell leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Yvonne, his children Anthony (Kathy) Lackey, daughters Stephanie Perez (Ledvi), and Kimberly (Tim) Heiny. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Nicholas (Katie) Lackey, Adam, Shiley, Sabrina Perez, Ryan, Blake, Wade and Michelle Lackey, and 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Levi Lackey. Darrell leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Darrell graduated from Pacifica High School in 1959. His work world was of varied interest. He was a beautician, Real Estate broker, a casino manager and enjoyed mining for gold in his later years. Darrell was also an avid fisherman and could be found out on the Delta as many as six days a week. He was well known to fellow fisherman as the best out on the Delta. There will be a graveside services on Friday, May 17th, at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch at 1:00 pm. Donations in Darrell's name can be made to the American Cancer Society or to Church of the Good Shepherd in Pittsburg.
