"Brevities - Died at Ashtabula - On Wednesday evening, J B Eastman, father of W R Eastman of East Spruce street, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs Cora Oats, at Ashtabula, O. The deceased, who was over 80 years of age, left this city in September to go to Ashtabula. The remains will be brought to this city today and funeral services will be held at the home of W R Eastman at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. Tomorrow morning the remains will be taken to East Branch, where interment will be made. Mrs Eastman died many years ago and W R Eastman of this city and Mrs Oats of Ashtabula are the only surviving members of the family."
