Don F. Richter, 75, a former Fremont factory superintendent and plant manager, died Nov. 10 in Pensacola, Fla.
He was born Feb. 23, 1908, in St. Louis, Mich., a son of Edward and Lucy (Terry) Richter. He married Mozelle Powers in St. Louis, Mich., she died in 1967. Four brothers also died previously.
Richter was factory superintendent of sugar beet plants in Fremont and Findlay. He was also plant manager of the tank division of Chemi-Trol Chemical Co. in Fremont.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alison, whom he married in Florida; four children. Larry of Fremont, Joan Bliss, Jackie Shannon and Richard, all of Wahpeton, N. Dak.; 15 grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters in St. Louis.
Richter's body was cremated. Memorial services will be in St. Louis, Mich., at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24 in the Methodist Church.
