Mrs. Mary Margaret Shaw, 79 of 548 West Front St., Clearfield and widow of Ashley Shaw, died at 1 p. m. Tuesday at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 2, 1879, at Clearfield, a daughter of John and Catherine (Harley) Carns.
Surviving are two sons, Voyle of Ciearfield and Clifford of Georgetown, S. C.; two brothers, William and Otis Carns, both of Clearfield; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. from the Nicholson Funeral Home, Clearfield, the Rev. William Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening, Friday and until time of services Saturday.
NOTE: Birth year on tombstone is 1878 and obit has 1879.
