Aaron T. Cross, 41, of Columbus, died at 10:39 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Born March 24, 1972, in Columbus, he was the son of Alton and Vickie Bryant Cross. He married Kelly Taylor May 1, 2008, in Columbus.

Aaron was a veteran of the Indiana Army National Guard and enjoyed watching NASCAR, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Reverend Virl Murray officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with military rites performed by the Indiana Army National Guard Honor Guard.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Kelly Cross; children, Jessica Cross, Kasey Cross, and Hunter Cross, all of Columbus; stepsons, Dylan Burton and Austin Muncy, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Brysin Goodpaster and Braydin Goodpaster; his father, Alton Cross of Columbus; his mother, Vickie Cross of Columbus; sisters, Mellissa (Gary) Caffee of Columbus and Summer (Joshua) Sebastian of Columbus; his mother-in-law, Darlene Taylor of Columbus; and a grandmother, Blanche Bryant of Columbus.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Bryant, and grandparents, Virgie (Carlie) Cross.
