Miss Rosa Marie Satterfield, age 53, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at the Life Care Center of Gray. She was a daughter of the late Tony Jack Satterfield and Minnie Cordelia Snowden Satterfield. Miss Satterfield was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church. Rosa was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. Survivors include: three brothers and their wives, Jack and Pat Satterfield, of Kingsport, Bob and Betty Satterfield and Ron and Marianne Satterfield, all of Johnson City; one sister, Carolyn Patrick, of Johnson City; two nieces, Carol Lynn Patrick and Christina Patrick; two nephews, Thomas Brian Patrick and Russell Dean Satterfield; four great nieces, Julie Harris, Kimberly Satterfield, Courtney Patrick and Amanda Patrick. Rosa was blessed by having a Godly Mother who cared for her every need until 1987 and Father who continued this care until 2002. The funeral service for Miss Rosa Marie Satterfield will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, October 21, 2005, in the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Harold Jones will officiate. The music will be by Barbara Hollifield, soloist, and Greg Forbes, soloist. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 Saturday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:55 AM Saturday. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Friday prior to the service. The family of Miss Rosa Marie Satterfield wishes to thank the staffs of the Asbury Place, the Life Care Center of Gray and the Johnson City Medical Center.
