Deborah Jeanne Jennings, 52, of Carson City was welcomed at Heaven's gates on May 3, 2013. She was born to Gene and Betty White on November 8, 1960 in Reno, Nevada. She lived in Carson City her entire life. She graduated from Carson High School in 1979. Deborah worked for the State of Nevada Treasurer's Office and the Nevada Secretary of State's Office until she retired. She loved to cook for her family and often tried new recipes that she learned from the cooking shows. She had a zest for life that all could see. She loved to take and display photos of her family all over her home. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed spending as much time with her grandson, Patrick as she could. Deborah is preceded in death by her father, Gene White and four infant siblings. She is survived by her two children: Amelia Jennings, of Carson City, Charles Jennings (Lucy), of Battle Mountain: her mother, Elizabeth White, of Carson City: her sister, Charlene Hembree (Gary), of Carson City: her assumed sister, Brynette Wemheuer (Willy), of Carson City; Tim Jennings, of Carson City; Michael Wemheuer, Dylan Wemheuer; one and a half grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and several loving cousins. Deborah will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial mass is scheduled for Thursday, May 16 at St. Teresa of Avila at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Plaza Event Center located at 211 W. 9th St., in Carson City. A private burial service will take place a Lone Mountain Cemetery.
