He was born December 7, 1933, in Lima to John Walter and Cleo Belle Auchmuty Williams.
Nolan attended the Columbus School for the Deaf, Columbus. He helped on the family farm, near Vaughnsville, and loved doing yard work on his Cub Cadet tractor. He was a member of the Vaughnsville United Methodist Church and was a fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.
Survivors include a niece, Susan K. (David) Morman, of Elida; a nephew, John R. (Ann) Williams, of Elida; and his sister-in-law, Mary Lou Williams, of Lima.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert V. Williams.
Friends may call at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Pastor Tom Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Gomer Pike Run Cemetery, Gomer.
