Claude E. Sullivan, 81, died at 5:27 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. He was born February 18, 1922, in Whitley County, Kentucky, the son of John and Jenny Walters Sullivan. He married Norma D. Mullins on December 25, 1940.
His survivors include daughters, Georgia Bower, Nancy Montgomery and Claudia Tower, a sister, Jettie Worley grandchildren, Scott, Troy, Brad, Brian, Mike, Sherry, Craig and Dina and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and his wife, on July 29, 2001.
Mr. Sullivan was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from security at Cummins Engine Co. and was a member of First Christian Church in Salem. He was an avid gardener.
