A graveside service will be held for Doris Anderson Murr on Saturday, May 31st at 11:00 AM at Chico Cemetery.

Doris Murr was born to William Anderson and Ida Braa in Republic, Michigan where she attended school. Doris then moved to Chico and worked for the State Department of Employment until her retirement. She first retired to Lake Almanor and later to Paradise.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Audubon Society, and the California Retired Employees Association. Doris was always cheerful and outgoing and was also an avid and competitive bridge player.

She is preceded in death by Rollin Murr, her husband of 65 years and is survived by 6 nieces and nephews and her many friends and acquaintances who will miss her. She was 93 years old.
