Ann Marie Hoffman, age 91, passed away on September 27, 2017. She was born on July 19, 1926 to the late John Laslea and Anna Denes in Willard, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Hoffman, brothers, John and George Laslea, and granddaughter, Ashley Hoffman.

Ann was a true matriarch--a wife, mother, grandmother, and GG whose lifetime of nurturing now lives on in dozens of families across the country. She was a beacon of light, laughter, and love that shone on her family, her friends, her neighbors, and anyone lucky enough to pass through her life. She ruled the dance floor at weddings and her Romanian cooking was legendary.

She is survived by Richard (Dulcey) Hoffman, George Hoffman, Cynthia (Robert) Leger, Dennis Hoffman, Helen (Mark) Baker, and Penny (Larry) Moore; grandchildren, April (Randy), Shannon (Thomas), Jonathan, David (Joy), Brian, Kimberly, Samantha (Jeff), Aaron (Sarah), Dean, William (Lisa), Renee (Jesse), Robert, Kersten (Adam), Shawn (Renee), Ryan (Sjanneke), Chad (Sally), Rick (Caylin), Lauren (Nick); and numerous great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10-12 pm, Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 High St. Columbus, OH 43085 where the funeral service will follow at 12 pm, Monday, October 2nd, 2017. Monseigneur Cody will be officiating. Following the ceremony there will be a brief graveside service at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
