Dr. S. C. Waller aged 70 and for many years a resident of Haynesville died suddenly at his home in Shreveport, La. following an acute heart attack. He was born and reared a short distance north of Haynesville, Early in life he prepared for his chosen profession that of a physician and up until he removed to Shreveport, he was active as such. Dr. Waller was active in the early development of Haynesville, In all civic and religious matters his opinion was held in high esteem. He purchased a large plantation near Bossier City in 1921. He was the Son of Joseph Tarpley and Georgianna Rowe and Husband of Mary Mollie Dawson. Children: Clair, Dayton, Paul, Ruby and Infant.
