Son of Leo R. and Marilyn Glenn Cross, he was survived by his mother, Marilyn Gleen Gross; his wife Donna Marie Murphy Cross (married on December 27, 1985); three sons, Aaron Lawrence Cross (Angie), Bryce Alan Cross (Whitney) and Craig Richard Cross (Jacqueline); five grandchildren; three sisters, Christine Mechem (Larry), Sheree Rogers (Steve) and Suzanne Otts (Jimmy); two cousins, William B. Cross and Robert O Cross, Jr.; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and his faithful dog, Rosa. He worked for Hickory Grove Auto for 16 years. His funeral was held on May 16, 2013, at Bettendorf Christian Church.
